I have been playing music since I was five years old. I can play trumpet, trombone, piano, guitar, ukulele, harmonica, and I can sing.

My favorite instrument by far is the Steel Guitar.

I spent the early '90's performing in Europe. My father and I have played for a packed house at Roy Thompson Hall. I have starred as Judas in a production of Jesus Christ Superstar.

I have been in many bands since the '80's, playing everything from jazz to punk, swing to rock. Right now, I play Pedal Steel with the country supergroup The Brothers Countrypolitan, and the up-and-coming gospel rock band Reuben Cherry.

I've taken my Hawaiian lap steel on the road: on balmy summer evenings, I play on the boardwalk at Toronto's Kew Beach, where the songs drip with beach sunset flavour. I played The Hawaiian Wedding Song at my own wedding while my bride and her friends danced a hula. I've played other weddings, dinner parties, birthday parties, garden parties, retirement homes and barbecues.

My Hawaiian Beach Party is a multimedia presentation including music, a slideshow, jokes, history, and audience participation. It was developed specificially for retirement homes and nursing homes with input from administrators and staff at top Ontario facilities.
